LinkedIn Newsletters Expand Your Reach
Because they're really simple to set up, you may use newsletters as a portion of your approach. They expand your reach, build your expertise, and show trustworthiness and authority. You can have them done in minutes, and over time, they'll attract more individuals to your profile and business.
One thing is clear after assisting thousands of entrepreneurs and solopreneurs in learning how to develop their businesses with social media. If you're not utilizing all of the resources at your disposal, you're missing out on an opportunity to expand your customer base. Linkedin emails are one of those free tools that you should be using on a regular basis if
Make sure you enable LinkedIn Creator Mode
Before you can send out newsletters, there are two things you need to accomplish. The first is to activate creator mode. Look for the resources area of your profile and turn on creator mode. Then LinkedIn will assess whether you meet the requirements to send out newsletters, and you'll see it in your creator tools.
I'm interested in whether you're currently employing newsletters in your company. Have you tried LinkedIn subscriber emails? Please let me know in the comments. I'm intrigued as to what you're doing with your business.
How to Create a LinkedIn Newsletter
Let me walk you through how to put together a LinkedIn newsletter. The first thing you'll do is click the Write an Article option. If you have access to LinkedIn newsletters, you'll see an option to test them here.
Go ahead and press that button. The first thing to appear is a configuration window where you'll customize your newsletter. So you're going to choose some of the settings that work best for you in terms of the frequency with which you want to send this newsletter.
You'll be able to name and describe your newsletter. I'm going to go ahead and do that now so you can see how I'm setting up my newsletter. The first thing I'll do is make a banner for my email.
Create a Graphic Banner for Your LinkedIn Newsletter
This is a graphic image of this edition of the newsletter. I'll use the free Pixeler program to do it. You may utilize whatever graphic editing software you choose. Just follow the size requirements for the picture you're going to use. And, as you can see, I'm just utilizing a photo of myself and then putting a blue box with descriptive text.
Then I'll give the newsletter a name. When I send it out, people will see it. It'll also be indexed in Google and LinkedIn. So it should be searchable and indexable. So I'm going to choose something that's very descriptive.
Then I'll include my content in your newsletter. Now, I've already done this elsewhere. Simply copying and pasting it into the text here informs readers of a video that I produced on optimizing your LinkedIn profile. But I wrote a lot about it anyhow. So all of that writing is included in the newsletter as well.
And I'm going to go through and do some formatting. I'm going to insert some links so that people may visit the video, and then I'll take the thumbnail for that video. It will be included as an image in my newsletter. I'm also going to establish links to a YouTube playlist with related videos, which they can access after reading the LinkedIn Newsletter.
Publish Your LinkedIn Newsletter
You can see theat I'm sending it out to the newsletter list I made earlier, even with that little spelling gaffe in there. And now you've seen this window appear where I can provide a short description of the newsletter. So I already had that written down. All I have to do now is paste it in here and add some hashtags.
And my newsletter is now published on LinkedIn Publishing. And everyone who receives the email will be able to subscribe. Now that this newsletter is housed inside of LinkedIn Publishing, it'll be discoverable by others on LinkedIn, people with whom I'm not connected. This will broaden my audience.
Advantages of a LinkedIn Newsletter
Some advantages of a LinkedIn newsletter are that you can't get it from them. If someone sends out an email newsletter, then people have to open it and read the newsletter or they don't. A LinkedIn newsletter stays in place after publication, which means that people looking for your hashtags and phrases can find your newsletters more easily. Make sure you use words when creating your newsletters so they will be easy to find by people looking for them.
That is one of the most significant advantages of LinkedIn newsletters over email newsletters: you can't get it from them. Once you send out an email newsletter, it's gone, and individuals either open it and read it or they don't. The newsletter on LinkedIn remains in place after publication, which means that people who search for your hashtags or phrases.
So while there are certainly real benefits to producing a newsletter on LinkedIn, it's also vital to pay attention to the words you use when developing these newsletters so that they're easily searchable and can be found by an extended audience.
Include Pure Value Content in Your LinkedIn Newsletter
One last suggestion for you. It's always a good idea to include value-oriented material in your newsletters, rather than being purely self-centered and self-focused, save those self-centered postings for your newsfeed so that people may simply scroll past them rather than read them.
You should make your newsletters about other people, like what they can do. You should not be selfish and talk only about yourself. Save the things you want to say for your Facebook page.
LinkedIn newsletters offer content that can help people grow their skills and knowledge. The content is helpful and will help them become more successful. If you are looking for a suggestion on what to create, I recommend starting with a lead magnet or providing something your prospects can consume quickly.
